A patent as result of CARE collaboration with outside industries has been registered (Fibrosis, with Fibrogen, CA, USA). At the moment, we are in the process to file three patents (cancer, fibrosis and diabetes. In addition, a compound that has a lot of possibilities for became a therapeutic for Alzheimer disease, will be licensed hopefully this year.
