The National Science Prize 2008 Recipient, Nibaldo Inestrosa, Director of the Center for Aging and Regeneration of the Catholic University of Chile, CARE Chile UC, discussed on Radio Bío Bío his concern about the situation of hundreds of professionals who currently opt for masters and PhDs to strengthen national scientific development.

The publication points out on its website that in the framework of the regional meeting “Chile va”, financed by Explora Conicyt and carried out in Osorno, the expert pointed out that the current funds in this area are defined by the government of Ricardo Lagos. He said that significant progress has been made, but unfortunately, the funding is still not enough.
