With an impressive resumé, this young American is an expert in materials sciencet, and has developed a technique that allows in vivo visualization of cells inside an organism.

Even though her interest in our country is not limited to science (her husband is Chilean), Bridget has just received support from the Human Frontiers Science Program (HFSP), one of the most important science foundations in the world, to carry out her work in our country.

Dr. Juan Larraín, who will guide Dr. Wildt's work, notes that "it's the first time that [the HFSP] gives a postdoctoral scholarship to someone who will carry out her work in Latin America.
